Anointing and Healing

The Rector is available to administer the Sacrament of Anointing and Laying on of hands for healing. This can take place in hospital, in church or in the person’s home

Bell-Ringing

The church bells are rung at 9.45am by a team of bell-ringers for the Parish Eucharist every Sunday morning

The bells may be rung at other times by arrangement or for celebration. Bell-ringing practice is on Friday evenings at 7.45pm - 9.00pm

Bible/Fellowship Study Groups

Anyone wishing to further their knowledge of the bible can join this teaching group. Meeting in peoples' homes on the 4th Monday of every month following the 6.30pm Eucharist

Alternatively, a fellowship group meets on the 1st Thursday of each month following the 10.00am Eucharist at All Saints

Blueprint - Christian Youth Group

This provision is for children and teenager aged 11 - 16yrs from across the Holt Deanery.  The group will meet on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month at the Holt Youth Project, 6:30pm - 8:00pm.  The group aims to develop the young peoples' faith and enable those exploring Christianity to do so in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.

Choir

The robed choir sing at the 10.30am parish Eucharist on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. They also sing at festival services and occasional weddings

Choir practice is every Wednesday evening at 7.00pm. New members are always welcome

Junior Choir

We now have a grwoing number of young choristers and are always looking for young people to join them. Aimed at children aged 7 and over, choir practice takes place on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm in church.

Home Communion

Taken from the reserved Sacrament can be taken to the sick and housebound. There is a team, comprised of the Rector, a number of retired clergy and a group of lay people

The lay people have been licenced by the Bishop of Norwich to administer the Holy Sacrament. Anyone wishing to receive Communion in their own home or Residential Care Home should contact the Rector

Intercessory Prayer Group

This new Group adds to and complements the present opportunities for prayer within the life of St Andrew's, notably the Daily Offices of morning and evening Prayer, the daily Eucharist, the monthly contemplative ‘Julian' Prayer Group and the intercessions offered at our weekly Sunday services. The aim of the group is to encourage and support people from the congregation of St Andrew's in their prayer life and to provide the facility for regular times of intercessory prayer in an informal and structured environment.

The group will meet on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month, commencing at 5.45 pm, finishing by 7 pm on Tuesday 19th October, meeting initially at 39, Cromer Road. Help with transport will be available if required.

Lent talks take place on 4 weeks during Lent. Also during Lent, groups meet for teaching and discussion and are held in various homes in the parish

Little Lambs

Parents and Toddler Group meets each Wednesday, from 9.30 am - 11.00 am, at the Church Hall, Church Street, Holt during term time only. 50p per family

This is an opportunity to enjoy crafts, story time, song time, play time and coffee time and the chance to meet other parents and children

Pastoral Care Team

A group from Church who make Pastoral Visits to anyone living within the Parish, not just those who attend Church, but anyone who may need support. Visits may be short or long term, due to illness, bereavement or to welcome newcomers to Church or to Holt. The team also support those newly married, those bringing children to Baptism and others with a variety of needs. Visits can be arranged to individual needs and can be just for a chat or other forms of support. They can be arranged either by speaking to Fr Howard or Fr Philip, or directly with the coordinator:
