Recently, the appeal fund group met to discuss the distribution of the fund and agreed to send £1500 to Save the Children, working among some of the most vulnerable of the refugees in Syria. Another £1500 is to be sent the Refugee Council UK who exist to support refugees arriving in the UK. Providing practical and emotional support to those in need the council aim to help refugees rebuild their lives and to ensure that they are treated fairly and with dignity. The remainder of the appeal is being held until we can assess the local need of refugees who find themselves in Norfolk.
