Free admission, retiring collection in aid of the church and the choir.
The renowned local choral group ‘Ladies Who Sing’, under the direction of Janet Kelsey, is in demand as one of the leading chamber choirs in the region and is notable for its committed and polished performances. The choir will be accompanied by the distinguished pianist, Mark Jones, Director of Music at St Andrew’s.
The programme will feature music from the 16th to the 21st centuries and contains spirituals, folk songs, popular songs and solos, as well as some of the greatest pieces ever written for female voices by Elgar, Schubert and Gjielo. Mark Jones, organist at St Andrew’s will also play a piano solo. Whatever your musical tastes you will surely be delighted by the offerings of this excellent group.
