PARISH WALK: Today! Meet in Church Street at 2.00pm. All welcome!
PARISH DAY PILGRIMAGE TO JULIAN SHRINE, NORWICH: Tuesday 7 th September, depart Holt 11.00am by coach, returning at 5.30pm . The day will include Eucharist & Address, talk on the spirituality of Lady Julian and Evensong. Please bring your own packed lunch or purchase in the city. Please sign the list at the back of Church if you are interested.
The cost of the day is £5.00.
CHILDREN'S SOCIETY: As the Committee have been unable to have a summer fund raising event, they would like to encourage you to support me when I do the Annual 10 mile London Bridges Walk on Saturday 11 th September. I would like to attempt to raise at least £500 through your sponsorship, which can be gift aided. Janet Dickinson.
THE NORFOLK CHURCHES TRUST SPONSORED CYCLE RIDE: Will take place on Saturday 11 th September 2010. We urgently need riders to raise money for this important event. For more information ring 07791612042. Audrey Wing would like to complete the ride but by car! This year she needs your help as she requires a driver/map reader. If you would like to participate please contact Audrey on 713150.

OUT AND ABOUT: Tuesday 21 st September to Narborough Hall Gardens. Coach leaves Holt 12.15 p.m. and arrives back 6.00 p.m. Cost £8.00. Explore the gardens and many walks, the ‘Gallery' and the Shop. GENERAL NOTICES:
APPOINTMENT OF DEANERY CHILDREN'S, YOUTH, & FAMILY MISSIONER :- Simon Fenn will begin work working in the deanery on Wednesday 1 st September. Simon is well qualified in youth work and was previously area youth worker with Essex County Council. He comes to the deanery with a wide range of experience and expertise. Simon's base will be the parish office here in Holt but he is expected to be out and about in the deanery. Please make him and his wife Gemma welcome.
PAKISTAN FLOOD APPEAL: The devastating floods in Pakistan have affected up to 20 million people and left 2000 dead. 1.4million acres of crop land have been flooded. If you would like to contribute to the Christain Aid Pakistan Floods Relief Appeal, please place your donation in the bucket at the back of church today.
