HARVEST BRING & SHARE: Sunday 8th October the Harvest Bring and Share Lunch at 12.30pm in the Church Hall. If you would like to come please sign the list in church and indicate whether you will bring a savory or sweet dish. Philip.

HARVEST THANKSGIVING: Sunday 8th October; usual morning services and Harvest Evensong at 5.00pm. PCC chosen charities are MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) and the Barnabas Fund, helping persecuted Christians. Donations of non-perishable food are welcome for the Cromer and District Foodbank.

BIBLE STUDY GROUP EVENT: Tuesday 31st October 3pm St Andrew’s Church Meeting Room. A speaker from the Barnabus Fund, followed by afternoon tea.
The Barnabus Fund supports persecuted Christians throughout the world. A free event hosted by the Thursday evening Bible Study group. Contact for further details: Helen Elson 01263 712050

Concerts:

The FALCON Saturday Evening Concerts are not ticketted, although donations are welcomed. A licensed bar is available for wine and soft drinks.  Posters and programmes may be downloaded by clicking on any underlined links.

DATE FOR YOUR DIARY: PARISH RETREAT TO AMPLEFORTH ABBEY: Monday 18th to Friday 22nd September. All those who have expressed an interest in attending this years’ retreat are invited to a meeting following the 10.30am Parish Eucharist on Sunday, 18th June in the Meeting Room to find out more. Coffee will be available.

GROUPS:

Little Lamb’s Parent & Toddler Group; meets every Wednesday during term time

9.30am – 11.00am in the Parish Church Hall. All parents/carers are welcome to come along and meet with friends and make new ones.  A relaxed, warm, safe and welcoming environment in which children are invited to come along and play. Refreshments available.

 

Bible Study

The Bible Study Group meets on the first Thursday of each month at 11.00am usually at 5 Avenue Road, High Kelling and also on the second Thursday of each month, at 5.30pm at The Cedars, 39 Cromer Road. “Blueprint”

Holt Deanery Youth Group for children and teenagers  aged 11 – 16yrs from across the Holt Deanery. Meets on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month at the Holt Youth Project, 6:30pm – 8:00pm. Coffee Morning Mondays

10am – 12noon every Monday in the  St Andrew’s Meeting Room at the Parish Church. Come along, relax and enjoy a coffee with friends. Everyone welcome.

The Poppy Centre

The Holt and District Dementia Support Group meets every Tuesday 10.30am – 12.30pm in the Meeting Room at the Parish Church.  A ‘drop-in café’ offering support to those who suffer with dementia and those who care for them.
The support group also offers a Home Visiting Service to enable carers to have some time to themselves, for up to three hours a week.

A Sports Session is held on the third Thursday of each month from 10.30am – 12.15pm at Holt Sports Centre, Woodfield Road, NR25 6TX. The session include seated exercises for carers and those with dementia, led by Victory Sports, also table tennis, pool, quoits and magnetic darts.
