Ministry to the housebound, sick, and dying
Home Communion
Taken from the reserved Sacrament, Communion can be taken to the sick and housebound. There is a team, comprised of the Rector, a number of retired clergy, and a group of laypeople who have been licensed by the Bishop of Norwich to administer the Holy Sacrament.
Anyone wishing to receive Communion in their own home or residential care home please contact:

Anointing and Healing
The Rector can administer the Sacrament of Anointing and Laying on of hands for healing. This can take place in a hospital, in church, or in the person’s home.
Pastoral Care Team
The Rector, together with authorised pastoral assistants and licensed lay minister make pastoral visits to anyone living within the parish, not just those who attend church, but anyone who may need support. Visits may be short or long-term, due to illness, bereavement or to welcome newcomers to church or to Holt. The team also supports those who are newly married, those bringing children to baptism, and others with a variety of needs. Visits can be arranged to suit individual needs and can be just for a chat or other forms of support.
