Deanery

St Andrew the Apostle is part of the Deanery of Holt which comprises 39 churches in Holt and the surrounding villages. Many of these churches were built on the proceeds of the medieval wool trade and are well worth a visit.

Deanery Synod

The Deanery Synod is a group of clergy and laypeople which meets at regular intervals to discuss matters which affect the Church, both at a local and national level.

Deanery Synod Representatives

The Deanery Synod is part of the Synodical Government of the Church of England.  Representatives are elected to represent the parish at the twice-yearly Synod meetings.  The meetings are open to other church members wishing to attend.
